Kate Moss for Topshop Spring/Summer 2009
Kate Moss continues to build her brand with yet another Topshop collection; her ninth in total. Having reviewed Ms Moss’ latest offerings I have to say that this collection is very similar to it’s predecessors - never too polished with a hint of vintage influence. There are lots of pretty patterned dresses, glam rock touches on jersey fabric and obligatory skinny jeans.
I’m sure this collection will fly off of the shelves regardless of the fact that Kate follows the same formula time and time again. Young girls everywhere want a piece of that Kate Moss magic - she still has a huge influence on the wardrobes of young girls and will continue to be Philip Green’s cash cow for the foreseeable future.
My favorite piece is this Liberty print dress - apparently Kate raided the archives of luxury department store Liberty, which inspired several pieces in the collection including this dress.
