Fashion designer Monique Huillier presents her Autumn 2010 Bridal Collection at New York’s Bridal Fashion Week on October 18th. Monique Huillier fanatics can watch the show live on TheKnot.com Monique will be watching her show from her armchair in Los Angeles, where she is five weeks away from giving birth to a baby girl.
Her collection has been touted as a “Fairytale Winter” extravaganza. “Lots of over the top treatments, fabric manipulation, fancy embroideries, yards and yards of silk fabrics. All feathered, ruffled, bustled, tufted and beaded.” Monique sees the A-line shape as being a popular trend this season, with lots of volume on the bottom of the skirt and a nipped in waist.
