Mi Fashion Blog Fave Nicola Roberts Relaunches Dainty Doll
2010.08.25
Yesterday, Nicola Roberts of Girls Aloud fame set about re-launching her Dainty Doll make up range at Harrods. The range had initially been made in collaboration with Jelly Ping Pong as part of the Girls Aloud mini series “The passions of Girls Aloud” on the UK Network ITV2, and was sold on ASOS.com.
However, Nicola has gone on to develop the range further adding new products, which will now be stocked in Harrods make-up department and other stockists around the UK. Nicola, a natural red head, saw a gap in the make-up market and explained that ‘the reason behind me doing this is because I had a point of difference and that was because of the pale skin and it was something I obviously felt really passionate about…I was aware that there weren’t many make up brands that catered for women for extra pale skin so I feel proud that I’ve been the person to do it.’
The Dainty Doll collection now includes 10 different products in various shades and colours, ranging in price from £10 to £20.

Personally, I feel affinity with Nicola, having very pale skin myself, so I will definitely be on the lookout for Dainty Doll.
