Danni’s classic combinations have come out on top for me. My favourite Danni look so far has been this sublime black vintage inspired prom dress from her own label, Project D – I definitely want to see more from this collection!!! I love how she’s showing off her baby weight loss with patent black belt, cinching in her waist. This is such a classic, Mad Men inspired look.

Blake Lively looks super cute in this Aztec print Marchesa dress and black Louboutin courts at New York’s Fashion’s Night Out. Blake was seen in the front row of the show talking to none other than Anna Wintour – who I’m sure approved of Blake’s outfit.

The power of a strong printed dress can be seen here and Blake keeps things simple by wearing minimal make-up, hair scrapped back and virtually no accessories. Taken too far and this look good have gone so horribly wrong.

Whitney Port, NYC.

Whitney Port has such great street style; she mixes up boho and rock chick pieces to stand out as the most fashion forward of The Hills girls. Even though she is a designer girl, she doesn’t look like she’s tried too hard, which gets a thumbs up in my book.

I particularly like this picture of Whitney walking around the streets of New York. I love the contrast of the vibrant red skirt, blue checked shirt and short, gaping biker boots. She’s gone a little Daisy Duke by knotting her checked shirt at the front but brace yourselves ladies showing off the midrift is back.

It’s quite a feat to look cute and not at all slutty in a pair of over the knee socks and a short skirt but Alexa Chung pulls it off by keeping her look preppy with a pair of manish lace up shoes and a long checked coat. I also like how she’s layered up on gold jewellery going for a statement necklace and adding a couple of longer chained pendants.
