Emma Watson and Robert Pattinson?

Emma Watson and Burberry are a sensible pairing. Burberry’s Creative Director, Christopher Bailey describes Emma as “the obvious choice for this campaign, who, like the images she fronts, has a classic beauty, a great character and a modern edge. Emma’s charm, intellect and brilliant sense of fun made the whole shoot feel like a picnic on the Thames.” It’s a shame really, that this “sense of fun” hasn’t really translated on film. Emma looks a little bored in these shots.

Mario Testino shot this campaign and Emma does look lovely (if a little blank) but personally, it’s all a bit safe for my liking. I do however, love the new line – that brown leather trench is amazing.
