Top 5 Miu Miu Shoes, Spring / Summer 2009

Some of my readers may have guessed by now that I’m a huge fan of Miu Miu given my posts on their recent campaign, fronted by Katie Holmes. If I was only allowed to buy shoes from one designer this season it would have to be them. Their designs for Spring/Summer 2009 don’t appear to have one clear running theme – the only thing they do have in common is classic design which creates a sleek look that can be worn for both work and play.

As Summer approaches I find myself needing to freshen up my shoe closet, so it’s out with the pretty pink gladiators and in with the pretty pink flats! Here are my top five Miu Miu shoes for this Spring and Summer.

Number 5: Miu Miu Bow Front Flats.

Birthday suit

As I have a birthday looming on the horizon, I started looking around for my dream birthday outfit and think I have found it. I decided upon this gorgeous asymmetric black Celine dress, designed by Pheobe Philo from Matches (£1,100). It has beautiful lines and a contrasting white under dress.

Anne Hathaway looked breath taking at this year’s Screen Actors Guild Awards in a luscious white Azzaro Grecian dress. The problem that I have with most white evening gowns is that they tend to look a little bridal – but this doesn’t seem to happen with a Grecian gown. Anne’s dress was easily the best of the night.

I literally cannot wait for this site to be up and running, Net-a-Porter revolutionized the way in which we now buy designer clothes, so let’s hope Outnet will do the same for the way in which we can snag some designer bargains.
