Prints are a big Spring/Summer 2011 trend – whether bold and fruity at Stella McCartney (picture above) or horizontally striped at Prada, there will be no getting from them this season. I for one adore prints and especially love clashing them. Floral and stripes are a particular favourite combination of mine.

This zebra print mustard shirt may not be floral, fruity or stripey but hey – throw an animal print on a vibrant coloured shirt, tie it at the waist and I’m a happy girl. This H by Henry Holland Zebra print, mustard shirt sounds a nightmare on paper but I absolutely love it. It would look so good with seventies inspired denim flares, open toed tanned platform heels and a wide brim floppy hat and is an absolute bargain at only £25 at Debenhams.

No related posts.]]> After three days of sheer laziness sitting on the sofa eating my own body weight in chocolate, I decided it was time to venture outside and brave the winter sales. What a mistake. It is hell out there; I like a bargain as much as the next girl but I gave up after an hour and came home empty handed. There were plenty of bargains to be had but the never-ending queues at the checkouts and changing rooms. No thanks.

After my very unsuccessful afternoon, I came home, switched on my computer and found these Christmas bargains:

Gorgeous purple metallic brogues from Faith. Were £55 and are now £25.

Patterned Balenciaga drape front dress from Browns. Was £1095 and now £660.

Exquisite Stella McCartney green and cream silk dress from Matches.com. Was £1135 and now £688.

Beautiful bejewelled bracelet by Patricia Nicolas at MyWardrobe.com. Was £215 and now £107.

I’m now officially broke.

Stella McCartney showed off her latest collection at Paris Fashion Week today and it was a mixed bag of highly wearable delights.

There was plenty of variety – a very muted, almost plain palette of rose gold, khaki and brown started proceedings which was punctuated by shocking blues, pinks and oranges. Floral prints also floated along the runway as well as structured jackets, high waisted cropped-at-the-ankle trousers and relaxed yet tailored denim. The star of the show, however had to be the gorgeous strapless babydoll cocktail dress in orange, which moved beautifully due to all it’s folds and pleats.

Stella also paid tribute to her mother, by heavily featuring a cork wedge shoe called the Linda.

Stella McCartney has been channeling boyfriend jackets in her collections for a while now and I for one am totally on board this look. Boyfriend jackets are ridiculously sexy when worn over a short dress and a killer way to toughen up a girly look.

I am always raiding my boyfriends wardrobe for beanies, shirts etc but seeing as though he is 6ft4″ I can’t get away with wearing his suit jackets, but that is fine, for there are a wealth of boyfriend jackets available on the high street. The one above is currently available at ASOS for £54.00.

I absolutely love this shot for Just Cavalli. It is stunningly beautiful and just shows why designer after designer still fight to work with the girl from Croydon.

FYI – what else is interesting about this particular shot is that the male model Kate is resting her tired little frame upon is no other than Miley Cyrus’s current beau Justin Gaston. I wonder if any more shots of the pair are going to be released? Justin can’t be too thrilled that in his biggest modeling gig to date his head has been cut off – close Justin, but no cigar.
